⏰ Before the Lesson
- ✓ Arrive 10 minutes early — this gives you time to settle in, change if needed, and start on time.
- ✓ Check the location — lessons take place at Krakow Valley G&CC or Royal Kraków G&CC. I'll confirm the exact venue before the lesson.
- ✓ Charge your phone — you'll need it for navigation, and during the lesson we sometimes record your swing for analysis.
- ✓ Have a light meal beforehand — 2 hours outdoors is quite a workout. A snack before the lesson is a good idea.
👕 What to Wear
You don't need professional golf attire for your first lesson. Just make sure you're comfortable and can move freely.
✓ Yes
- Polo shirt or t-shirt
- Joggers / chinos / leggings
- Athletic shoes with flat soles (trainers, sneakers)
- Comfortable shorts (summer)
- Baseball cap or visor (sun!)
- Light jacket / hoodie (cooler days)
✗ No
- Jeans — restrict movement
- Flip-flops, sandals, heels
- High-heeled shoes
- Very loose clothing that could get in the way
💡 Tip: Dress as you would for a gym workout — comfortable, sporty, with full range of motion in your arms. Flat-soled athletic shoes are perfect.
🎒 What to Bring
- ✓ Yourself and a positive attitude — that's the most important thing! Everything else is optional.
- ✓ A water bottle — especially on warmer days. 2 hours in the sun is a lot.
- ✓ Sunscreen — the driving range is an open space with constant sun exposure.
- ✓ A golf glove (optional) — worn on the left hand (for right-handed players). Prevents blisters. If you don't have one — no worries, we'll manage just fine.
🏌️ Golf equipment is provided! Clubs, practice balls and range balls — I have everything on site. You don't need to buy anything.
📋 What the Lesson Looks Like
- ✓ Warm-up and introduction — I'll show you how to hold the club, how to stand, and what a basic swing looks like.
- ✓ Driving range — you'll practice hitting at an open practice bay. This is where we'll spend most of the time.
- ✓ Chipping and pitching — short shots around the green. A crucial part of the game.
- ✓ Putting green — learning to putt the ball into the hole. Satisfaction guaranteed.
- ✓ Rules and etiquette — you'll learn the basic rules and on-course behaviour in a relaxed way.
I'll adjust the pace to suit you — no pressure, no stress. If something's going great, we'll move on. If you need more time — you've got it.
